Site Survey
A site survey is conducted to establish that you meet basic system requirements. We perform visual inspections of the installation, which includes verifying PC/Server software versions, Cash Register counter setup, power, network wiring, placement of printers, etc. Once the survey is completed, items that require attention are considered in the implementation timeline. |

Timeline
Your Account Manager will put together a timeline detailing the tasks needed to work through the implementation process with target completion dates. This takes into account timing of wine club runs, events, weekends/holidays, etc. Tasks may include items such as software installation, data entry/conversion, merchant account setup, physical installation, training, go-live, first wine club run, etc... |

Business Analysis
An analysis of your business operation is conducted and consists of information gathering to helps us understand and match your business requirements to the configuration of the software. Business processes, workflow, reporting requirements, accessibility are all part of the analysis. |

Software Installation
Usually performed onsite (can also be remotely installed), this step includes loading software to the server and workstations and performing the initial system configuration using information gathered in the business analysis in preparation for the system to begin accepting data. |

System Setup / Data Entry
Together with your staff, a review of system setup will be covered followed by basic training on data entry. If there is to be any data conversion, this too will take place at this step in the process. Once data entry/conversion is completed, register training can commence. |

|
|
Training
Various phases of system training will occur at this time. Training may consist of classroom training (at our facility), onsite, or online. |

Go Live
The system is brought live on this date. Preparation may include labeling items on the floor, taking of physical inventory (Wine AND Merchandise). When possible, a Microworks representative will be onsite all day (for cash register customers) to provide hands on training and to help with closing procedures. |

|
Our implementation process is thorough. We have found that proper planning and scheduling will provide a smooth transition to the new system making it a positive experience to all involved. You will be up and running in no time enjoying the benefits of your new Microworks System!
